Worldwide Knit in Public Day

World Wide Knit in Public Day (WW-KIP) is coming in June. Locally, our Prescott Farmers Market has graciously agreed to allow local knitters to meet up at the Community Booth on both June 13 and June 20 and knit to our heart’s content.

Can you imagine?! Do your shopping at the market and then settle in to knit for as long as you wish between 7:30 a.m. and noon. What a perfect way to share your love of knitting with new or old friends, pick up some new tips, and maybe cultivate some new knitters in the process.

Though Erin Lingo, the Market’s Director, has offered us a canopy and some chairs, bring along your own shade and seating, just in case. Don’t forget sunscreen and something to drink.
