Prescott Knitters meeting at a location near you!
By ktcosmos on Aug 13, 2009 in Knitting and Yarn
Here’s to planning yarnie meetups, project exchanges, tips, and friendship! Prescott Knitters is a group for anyone who lives in or visits Prescott, Arizona.
Let’s use this space to notify more folks about the open knitting groups that exist in the Prescott area. There are a number of established knitting meetups happening around town but one of the newest is Prescott Knitters.

Prescott Knitters meets Thursday evenings 5:30 - 7:30 at Iron Springs Starbucks.
Besides keeping in touch on Ravelry, Prescott Knitters meet every Thursday evening, 5:30 – 7:30, at the Starbucks on Iron Springs Road, near Joanne’s. Drop in when you can!
Some of Prescott Knitters future plans:
- No required charity knitting, but if you do enjoy knitting for others, we’re collecting children’s hats for Stepping Stones.
- You know those little orphan knits? The things you made yourself that didn’t fit or flatter, or just never found a home? Save those up and we’ll sell them at next summer’s Prescott WWKIP at the Prescott Farmers Market. Any funds raised will then donated to a tba program.
- Bring swappables every 3rd Thursday… just like Thanksgiving! If you would like to give new life to anything related to knitting and crocheting (yarn, needles, hooks, books, patterns, magazines, notions, etc.), haul them to Prescott Knitters and we’ll see if someone wants to trade you for something good they have.
In the meantime, support our local yarn shops and stop in when you get a chance!
